April 2, 2009

Today I was dragged from my bed at 5a.m, bound and gagged. It was ok thought as Siobhan was with me and she is vicious! That Thief didn’t stand a chance. He drove us all around the country from Bundoran to Castlebar and eventually the Thief needed the toilet. Siobhan used her talons to cut thought the bondage tape and we locked the Thief out and sped off in his Nissan MArch.

I tried my best to stick to the speed limit but it was a close call. Traffic was crazy, Siobhan was shouting there was tractors EVERYWHERE!

We made it to Galway before the March stopped Marching and we legged it to the window.

Manic Day!!

                Happy Birthday for tomorrow mum!!

  •  Evan’s Wednesday Update

The day of the wily, slippery friend,

What treachery! What baser cheek! What villainous antics. The ingenious friend that goes by the alias of ‘the thief’ struck late last night to put our entire competition in jeopardy! The dastardly creeper somehow managed to allude the entire crack security team here at our headquarters of indecent proposal and steal away the two girls, right from under our noses. At first when I awoke, shocked and disorientated, I held fast to the notion that this may have been an Aprils Fools joke played by either Jessica or the I102104 staff. Alas, after hearing the villain’s unmistakable and chilling laugh down the phone, taunting me, taunting all of us, the gravity of the situation dawned quickly upon me; does this mystery’s madman’s evil know no bounds?

As a result, I am forced to spend today, possibly our last day, completely alone in the window. I miss Jessica a lot already, I miss her company and her fun games so please try to find this loathsome lunatic before the deadline because its really lonely in here on my own and because were going to have to forfeit the entire competition if we don’t get the girls back. The nervousness of the predicament has rattled Dave (the programme co-ordinator at i102) so much that he’s put a mammoth €2,000 bounty on the troublesome thief’s head so here should be plenty of personal incentive to join in the manhunt!

In other news we had to go to bed early because our neighbours have young babies so that was disappointing but on the plus side we had great fun with all the people outside during the day. I spent over an hour having a written conversation with people the other side of the glass! I promised I’d mention them so hello to all of you and thanks for the company I’m nervous about what today’s challenge will turn out like considering we last two of our contenders. That’s all for now, I’ll update you in any progress made in the West’s biggest manhunt, stay vigilant people, he could be anywhere and if you suspect somebody make sure you ask the question, don’t assume somebody else will, this man must be caught. Ask “are you the i102104 thief?” when you see a suspect. Remember there could be €2,000 in it for you if you’re correct so make sure to ask! More later, thanks for reading.

We were asked to offer some random thought for the day so here goes.

I can see twister in the hall I hope we can play it soon.

I wonder where the window in the bathroom leads to. It looks like its outside but its dark even in the day.

Who buys decorative cushions?

I think the cut on my leg might be infected, I ran into the coffee table in my room which I’m sure was hilarious for anyone watching on webcam.

Shampoo stops windows from fogging up if you rub it in. FACT!

I really smell by now. Honestly! I didn’t bring enough socks so I’ve started to recycle now!

I wonder if the thief will be kind enough to feed the girls.

By my calculations, as of midday today, I have 52 hours remaining.

Unfortunately, I can’t get anybody hoodies, you’ll have to ask somebody that works at the station.

Tuesday’s Update

April 1, 2009
  • Jessica’s Tuesday Update……

So far today I’ve had a snake around my neck, a lizard in my hands and what felt like maggots on my mouth and it’s not even over yet.

I don’t know about indecent but today certainly was disgusting. We haven’t seen Siobhan and Alan for a while so we don’t know how they’re doing (hopefully not as well as us!)

We cleaned the toothpaste off the windows so it’s easier to see now.

I thought time would drag along but it’s actually going quite quickly.

  • Evan’s Tuesday update

What a life experience Indecent Proposal is. Today, for the first time in my life I got to experience a rat and maggots pooing on my hand, thanks me!! I also got to eat the best of what Ganley’s kitchen could serve up, we thought we were maggots but I think it was just some noodles and barbeque sauce! There’s more still to come though, so I might get something way worse next from the things they’re saying.

They gave me some of Fergal’s special sandwiches. They tasted like someone had put my foot into a sandwich and fed it to me. Plus I think it had shellfish in it because my gag reflex!!

We got our results back and well……… I feel a little annoyed actually. We were in an eating competition like I said and I stuffed a full disgusting sandwich down my mouth for nothing! They based our scores on how many flavours we had identified from all the foods and we lost L Feeling kind of crap now, plus I just heard that we’re not allowed have our late night because the neighbours on our side complained….crap
