Life in the Indecent Proposal window so far..

Window B couple Jessica Sharkey and Evan Heneghan TUE 31st MARCH   DAY 4

  • Jessica’s story…………….

4 days down, 3 to go.

So far, so good, except for the task yesterday which was not good at ALL. Being cling filmed to another girl was not as I had expected, but we didn’t give in and we beat the iGang!

Everyone has the flu by now and everyone knows everything about each other. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. We won showers yesterday (phew) because they melted ice-cream and mars bars between our bodies (and not in the fun way). I didn’t actually expect to still be in the window after yesterday’s double eviction. By the way we miss you guys, Double D and Karey and Trev.

The Galway people have been great and I think every night in Galway is a night out! Those students have some stamina. I’d trade Evan in for a bowl of fruit right now, eating out every day is not so good for any of us but the food has been fantastic. If you’re reading this Dad, will you ring my work and tell them I won’t be in? Thanks.

Low point so far- Probably being cling-filmed to Siobhan (no offence!!) or having a kidney infection in here.

High point so far- Possibly my attempted escape. I’ve had a few people at the window asking if I had some sort of panic attack, so to set it straight, I didn’t, I just made a run for it when everyone’s backs were turned. I didn’t even make it to the door.

Don’t know what today’s task is but you can bet we’ll stay at it till the end. If anyone knows where I can get another Spongebob Squarepants bra please let me know. I think mine has seen the end.

See you at the window guys!

  • Evan’s story…………….

‘My Life as a Fish’ by Evan

Like a fish in a tank, like a monkey in a zoo. The things you miss. We had a topless party the other night, until the cops sent all our new friends home. They wouldn’t believe we weren’t on drugs. When the decisions you have made in your life to this point lead you here, has it worked? Bound and greased up, tied to a giggling man who keeps passing air you can not escape from for three and a half hours. Is it worth it? An experience I once read about a boy who was left in an attic for a week when his mother forgot him, he didn’t even had food. At least we get fed. And we have company. Each other… and the outside world. Large looming eyes looking in. so many nice people. So many genuinely kind visitors, it really has amazed me. For every middle finger, a hundred thumbs up. For every threat, a thousand encouragements. So many names through the head, people who helped. Grace & Niamh et al. Colm & Eimear, Courtney, all the people at the late night party, all of them. I can’t really see out my window today. I smeared toothpaste all over the window. Three days to go. I miss my old habits. Rats in vats, I think that will be the challenge today. I’ll do it because I’d like to win. But I really don’t like rats. It’s the little legs, too short for their body. I’ve decided I like A Life Aquatic. I’ve decided that since I came in here I’d like to watch less TV when I get out. I haven’t been bored at all since I came in without it. Then again, I haven’t got as many people willing to play charades with me on the outside.

We tried to get contraband chocolate in earlier in the week but these people must have eyes like hawks, they found all of it. Maybe they have hidden cameras. Trev and Karey and Daneka and Derek are gone now. We miss them. We miss fruit too.

I’m proud of Jessica for not giving up yesterday; she gave herself a kidney infection holding out for so long. Last night one of the people at our window party was dressed as a whoopee cushion! 3 days to go! Hurray!
